Senior Human Resources Officer
Are you an experienced HR professional ready for an exciting new challenge? Do you want to work in an organization where people truly come first—while enjoying the sun, sea, and relaxed island atmosphere? Then this position at Sapias Holding B.V. might be perfect for you! As Senior HR Officer, you will play a central role within our HR team on Bonaire. You will be responsible for the entire HR process and will support employees and managers with your knowledge and experience. You will help ensure a pleasant and professional work environment where everyone can thrive.
- Managing the full recruitment process: from vacancy to contract signing
- Coordinating onboarding, internal transfers, and offboarding
- Ensuring accurate administration of personnel files
- Advising and guiding employees and managers on HR-related questions
- Monitoring compliance with labor legislation and internal HR policies
- Preparing salary adjustments and coordinating with the finance department
- Handling confidential and sensitive discussions, such as conflict resolution and exit interviews
- HBO (Bachelor’s) level of education, preferably in HRM or a related field
- At least 1–2 years of experience in an HR role
- Knowledge of Dutch labor law; experience with BES legislation is a plus
- Fluent in Dutch and English; Spanish or Papiamentu is an advantage
- Proactive, independent, and flexible
- Empathetic and professional
- Strong in communication
- Discreet and well organized
- Able to balance the interests of employees and the organization
